Simple Clean Eating Grocery List
What foods are considered clean eating?
Healthy eating is all about choosing whole foods. — AKA foods that grew directly on the earth.
A good rule of thumb is: If it ever had roots, swam, or had breath, eat it!
You also want to buy food that is in its’ most NATURAL STATE as possible.
We want to buy items that have a very SHORT ingredients list on the nutrition label. If you start to see a bunch of long words that look like they could be a different language… ABORT MISSION!
Try and avoid products with more than a few grams of ADDED sugar. (Always check the nutrition label.)
*NOTE: Added sugar is not the same thing as just sugar. (Healthy whole foods such as fruit have sugar in them.)
On the back of a nutrition label, you’ll see “total sugars” and then you’ll see “added sugars.” You need to look at the ADDED sugars — try and keep those low (anything higher than 5-10g. per serving is high in my personal opinion.)

What can I snack on when eating clean?

When in doubt, snacking on any fruits, veggies with hummus, organic yogurt, or organic nut butters (🤤) is always a good option!
How soon will I see results from clean eating?
You can start seeing visible results within a couple weeks of clean eating, but remember that you must stay consistent with it and allow for time to do its’ work! If you stay with it, imagine where you could be a few months and a few years from now!
Try and maintain a long term mindset so that you create an all around healthy lifestyle instead of just eating clean to get quick results that you don’t maintain.
