This is a CrossFit goals list to help you determine the best goals for your own CrossFit journey!
Wondering what are some workout goals for CrossFit? We’ve got you covered here!
I’ve personally been doing CrossFit for just under 4 years (at the time of writing this post) and I know for a fact that the reason I’ve been successful in the sport so far is because my box has encouraged me to set specific goals every single year.
Everyone’s journey is different and, therefore, everyone’s goals will be different. Pick a couple goals (or even just one goal) that suits you well and run after it!
I hope you’re inspired by this CrossFit goals list.

CrossFit Goals List and Tips
What is the End Goal of CrossFit?
The end goal of CrossFit is to improve fitness. Period. That’s all it really boils down to…
However, there are so many unmentioned goals and successes you get to meet along the way such as improved mental health, having fun, creating memories, and enjoying awesome community!
Gymnastics and Skills CrossFit Goals List
With any of the goals on these lists, feel free to swap the numbers out for a number that makes more sense for you!
For example, if you’ve already gotten one muscle-up, maybe you make your goal to do 3 unbroken muscle-ups this year!
If you’ve never done a single strict pull-up with no assistance, then make it your goal to get ONE this year (or within the next 6 months)! 💪🏼
- Do one muscle-up this year.
- Do 10 unbroken strict pull-ups this year.
- Do 50 unbroken push-ups this year.
- Hit 50 double unders in a row by X date.
- Hit 100 double unders this year.
- Perform 10 consecutive double unders with a drag rope this month.
- Walk 50′ on your hands by X date.
- Walk 100′ on your hands this year.
- Hit 10 consecutive pistol squats this year.
- Do 30 consecutive GHD sit-ups by the end of the year. (Make sure you’re working up to this slowly over time to prevent rhabdo.)

- Do 100 consecutive sit-ups by the end of the year.
- Do a 1-minute handstand hold within the next 90 days.

Another approach to choosing CrossFit goals could be to set a new goal for a benchmark WOD.
Here is an entire list of benchmark WODs to give you ideas!
I always think Murph is the perfect benchmark WOD to set a new goal for because we do it once a year in the Crossfit world… And A LOT can happen in a year! (You could literally go from scaled to completely RX in a year.)
So, if in doubt, try and hit a new Murph time PR this year!
